Kim Walling – Founder, owner, website designer and visual branding guru
My experiences include the design, build and activation of over 80 websites.
I graduated in 2000 with a 2:1 BA Hons in Business Studies majoring in Marketing and IT and then went travelling the world. When I returned, I then studied a Post Graduate Certificate in Education for Secondary Education for IT and Website Design in Post 16 years from the University of West of England.
Following that I worked as a Post 16 teacher and then I moved to a High School to teach Business Studies, Information Technology and Website Design.
My experience in other roles truly make me a valuable asset to any business from account management, marketing, building and running my own ecommerce apparel business where my graphic design skills were nurtured into what they are today as we had to design the logos for the clothing.
I have also worked in the corporate world for a promotions company and in online education. During these years I was involved in making sales, presenting to large audiences, creating online campaigns, producing DM material, coordinating advertising schedules and running online competitions. I also worked for my employer as a website designer and graphic designer. Coordinating, implementing, managing, tracking and evaluating projects and managing promotional activities including redesigning and launching their education website, designing and creating online training videos, designing and delivering print, merchandise, apparel, and signage.
10 years ago during maternity leave I started to design websites for small businesses from home. From there my skill as a website designer really evolved as I moved from older building techniques to WordPress. During this transistion I naturally started helping businesses with their branding and so my visual branding experience grew. It was 8 years ago, when I took the plunge to be my own boss doing something I truly loved and that is when I started Mumbo Web Design.

EDM/FB/I Campaigns
Sarah Rouhan and Natalie Love at Zantzoo are where I send you when you want to drive action and integrate your brands culture across a variety of touch points. They are all over EDM (electronic direct mail) campaigns Facebook Advert campaigns and Instagram campaigns. We have been working together for a while so if you want more than just the website and the visual design part then these two are the bomb!
SEO Google Adwords
Aiden McCarthy from Adsurf is who I collaborate with if you are looking for advanced SEO like Google AdWords to get you found on search engines like Google. We can also help with inexpensive brand and product awareness campaigns through the Google Display Network and re-marketing to your previous visitors (aka gently following your customers around the web to remind them of your services).
Email and IT Experts
I have a few IT experts I call on my clients behalf to visit their business to offer email and IT services. They also offer remote support for those clients further afield or abroad. These are usually called to help businesses set up Microsoft 365. Gsuite set up is pretty straight forward and doesn’t always need a specialists help here. I trust the people I have to help and I believe they reflect my core values to you can rest assured they will help you.
Data Entry/Photo Cleaning
These are my white-label warriors that help me with heavy duty data entry jobs and photo cleaning work. I used to do this all myself as I could never find anyone who did an excellent job. Then I came across these guys which enables me to take on the big eCommerce websites with lots of products to add. Plus if clients need to get photos taken I can do the photography and then get these guys make them look AMAZING!!!
